How can we engage people about climate change?

I connect policymakers with data that can tell us: who, what, where, and how?

I am informed by a social justice approach and can help your organisation design quantitative research for key stakeholders as well as sampling for marginalised and hard-to-reach groups. I can help you conduct surveys to gain insights into community sentiments about climate change, their values, belief and knowledge systems and how they engage with the issue.

Governence

My recent research as co-investigator evaluated the 2024-2025 Weeds Action Program in conjunction with the University of Wollongong and NSW Government Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. The project used an online survey and qualitative interviews with state and local government staff members in biodiversity control.

Communication

My past publication for the peer-reviewed journal called ‘Transforming fair decision-making about sea-level rise in cities: The values and beliefs of residents in Botany Bay, Australia’ created climate typologies. In plain English that means I categorised people into shared beliefs and engagement preferences to create insights into climate communication.
